Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular (9+), and REST API development. The ideal candidate will work in an Agile development environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and design scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (9+)

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to gather and analyze requirements

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Mentor and guide junior developers

• Implement best practices in software architecture, testing, and performance optimization

• Develop database components using PostgreSQL or Oracle

• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards

• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

• 10+ years of experience in modern software development

• 8+ years of experience working in Agile development teams

• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

• Must be able to work onsite in Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week)
