AWS DevOps IaC Engineer

Summary

This Administrator will work as part of the Information Security Team, supporting Cloud infrastructure and application administration while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Cloud operations experience, a strong DevSecOps mindset, and a passion for automation and security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Patch and update the Cloud infrastructure using rehydration and manual methods.
• Manage certificate renewals and cryptographic key rotation.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for team-owned environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions aligned with Policy-as-Code requirements.
• Provide development and production support for SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Develop data visualizations and manage data storage solutions for security metrics.
• Automate repeatable security tasks and manual procedures, particularly those related to vulnerability identification and mitigation.
• Support Agile delivery practices including ticket management and sprint planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Application Security, DevSecOps Engineering, Cloud Security, or Cloud Administration.
• Solid understanding of Cloud security principles and operational best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure operations and administration.
• Experience developing or administering IaC.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python or Java preferred).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and remediation processes.
• Working knowledge of application security scanning, configuration, and vulnerability triage.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and container technologies.

Preferred

• Extensive experience with Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or similar environments.
• Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, AWS Config, AWS Inspector, and GuardDuty.
• Advanced understanding of DevSecOps practices, frameworks, and tools.
• Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines (Git, SAST, dependency scanning, DAST, etc.).
• Familiarity with administering SharePoint, Confluence, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau or Power BI.
