Summary

As a Contractor Product Manager in our Digital & eCommerce team, you will lead the product domain focused on enhancing our search capabilities using ElasticSearch. Your role is crucial for improving customer experiences by ensuring efficient product search, personalized recommendations, and data-driven insights across our platform, impacting over 2 million customers and 150,000 products globally. You will help define the strategy, roadmap, and take end-to-end responsibility for your products, with oversight from the Senior Product Manager or Head of Product.

Key Responsibilities
Help define the product vision and roadmap for search features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to integrate ElasticSearch capabilities into our product offerings.
Own end-to-end product outcomes for search functionality.
Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and marketing teams to implement the product vision and ensure a seamless user experience.
Develop requirements at an epic level that align with overall initiatives and create user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Take responsibility for delivery in your product area, proactively identifying risks and variances to plans, and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.

Key Accountabilities
Product Vision & Roadmap: Design a seamless search experience that enhances customer outcomes and drives engagement.
Voice of the Customer: Be the expert on customer journeys and market dynamics related to search functionalities.
Lead continuous discovery activities to adapt product strategy to evolving customer needs and technological advancements.
End-to-End Product Delivery: Define and track success metrics for search and AI product domains.
Achieve key business goals, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through innovative search solutions.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while guiding the product team.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on product status, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills
Proven experience as a Product Manager, in digital products with a focus on search technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with ElasticSearch 8 or above and its integration into product ecosystems.
Previous experience with search technologies and their application in enhancing user experiences.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
