Job Title: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
- Administer and support RHEL servers, including deployment, configuration, patching, and maintenance on virtual platforms (VMware).
- Utilize Red Hat Satellite for system management, including configuring and managing software repositories, content views, and lifecycle environments.
- Orchestrate patch management and security updates to ensure compliance across enterprise infrastructure.
- Develop and implement automation for administrative tasks and infrastructure deployment using Ansible and Bash/Python scripting.
- Conduct advanced system monitoring, performance tuning, and root cause analysis to ensure optimal system health, stability, and performance.
- Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Implement system and software updates, document processes, and perform daily support functions including problem resolution.
- Provide status updates and reports on system activities, including patching and health assessments.
- Troubleshoot platform and application issues, and work with IT security teams to ensure endpoint security and compliance.
- Automate routine administrative tasks to improve operational workflows and efficiency.
- Coordinate with different teams for proper system configurations and deployments.
Requirements - Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4+ years of experience in RHEL system administration.
- Proficiency with Bash/Python scripting or other automation languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise RHEL tools like Satellite and Ansible.
- Experience managing users, groups, and access controls.
- Strong problem-solving, log analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of system hardening, vulnerability management, patching, and firewall configuration.
- Excellent communication skills to document processes and collaborate with teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
