Summary
Location: Hybrid — 3 days on-site at 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201 / 2 days remote
- Synthesize research, analytics, and best practices to solve problems for New Yorkers
- Build roadmaps outlining direction and timing for product development
- Manage the software product lifecycle from conception to launch — bridging program strategy, user experience, and technology
- Define and validate that features solve real user problems
- Prioritize work to maximize user value and program impact; filter out non-strategic requests
- Define and monitor outcomes and KPIs for evidence-driven improvements
- Translate user needs into requirements; guide program, UX, and engineering teams
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and system requirements with UX and engineering
- Treat other agencies' stakeholders as critical customers of the product
- 8+ years of proven product-management experience supporting the launch of digital features/products using SDLC best practices
- Hands-on experience developing digital products through the full lifecycle: planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Ability to manage multiple products from strategy to executional detail
- Expertise using data to support decisions and prioritization of requests, enhancements, and new features
- Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., Google Analytics) to drive decisions
- Experience working across ecosystems, platforms, and new technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and proactive
- Best-in-class attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication
- Proven track record aligning diverse groups and perspectives toward a common goal
