Job Description Visa is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Contingent Workforce Strategy Office (CWSO). This role will lead the delivery of technology initiatives that support Visa's global contingent workforce program, including platform enhancements, systems integration, automation, data governance, reporting, and digital transformation efforts.
You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, external partners, and vendors to identify opportunities, design scalable solutions, and drive operational excellence across the contingent workforce ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing workforce management technologies, improving data integrity, and enabling strategic decision-making through analytics and automation. The role aligns with CWSO's responsibility to manage product enhancements, provide technical guidance on process improvements, and deliver technology solutions supporting the contingent workforce program.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technology initiatives supporting Visa's global contingent workforce program.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, Legal, Cyber Security, Finance, Workforce Planning, and external service providers to drive successful outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and governance for workforce management platforms and supporting technologies.
- Serve as the technology lead for workforce management platforms, including Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and related ecosystem applications.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement product enhancements that improve user experience, compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Drive platform optimization efforts, including automation opportunities and process redesign.
- Support future technology assessments, platform evaluations, and vendor selection initiatives.
- Lead integration efforts between workforce technologies and enterprise platforms.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through automation and system enhancements.
- Partner with technology teams to improve data flow, reduce operational risk, and enhance workforce lifecycle management.
- Define business requirements and support solution design, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
- Establish data governance practices to improve data quality, consistency, and visibility.
- Ensure technology solutions align with Visa policies, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Support audits, controls, and compliance initiatives related to contingent workforce management.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies related to workforce technology, integrations, and data management.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Management, Business Systems, HR Technology, Procurement Technology, or related disciplines.
- Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), workforce management technology, procurement technology, HRIS, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority and manage competing priorities.
- Experience with SAP Fieldglass or other workforce management platforms.
- Experience supporting contingent workforce, procurement, talent acquisition, or HR technology programs.
- Experience with automation technologies, workflow tools, AI-enabled solutions, or process optimization.
Information for US Applicants :For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $127,300.00 to $ 204,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
