IT Senior AWS Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of an IT Senior AWS Developer in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Analyze, design, code, debug, test, and document critical applications
* Own the full systems development lifecycle, including architecture, design, release, and deployment documentation
* Prepare SQL scripts for data maintenance and write optimized queries and views for system integrations
* Document and maintain code using change control tools
* Support cross-functional projects and integrated business solutions to improve efficiency
* Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to manage projects, create SOWs, and communicate progress
* Adhere to established policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
* 8+ years of team-based programming experience
* Strong experience with Oracle and Java/J2EE
* Ability to design SQL databases based on application and data models
* Experience with application servers
* Proven ability to write efficient, well-designed, testable code
* Experience supporting test-driven development
* Knowledge of information and security architectures
* Experience working in Agile environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
