Job Title:  Enterprise Cloud Architect
Location: New York, NY - Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote)
Duration:  12 Months (with potential for extension)
 
Overview:

We are seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect who will support our NYC client. This role will develop and advance the Enterprise Architecture strategy, standards, governance, reference and target architectures, and capability roadmaps to align technology capabilities with enterprise business objectives. The consultant will also help guide information architecture, technology and program integration, business process reengineering, and stakeholder knowledge sharing across the organization.


Duties:

• Develop and document the Enterprise Architecture strategy and value proposition in alignment with enterprise strategic priorities and performance objectives.
• Define and maintain Enterprise Architecture standards, principles, patterns, reference architectures, target architectures, governance practices, and technology roadmaps.
• Develop capability roadmaps and use architectural modeling tools and constructs to communicate current-state, target-state, and transition architectures.
• Assess user and business problems, identify opportunities for process reengineering, evaluate alternative solutions, and support cost/benefit analysis.
• Align technology capabilities and information architecture with business solutions while guiding integration of information technology and programs across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and programmers throughout design, development, and implementation to ensure user and business needs are satisfied.
• Prepare project plans and facilitate stakeholder communication, knowledge sharing, negotiation, and cross-functional alignment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst and/or Business Analyst.
• 8+ years of progressive professional experience
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, including reference architecture, target architecture, governance, design principles and patterns, and roadmap definition.
• Experience developing capability roadmaps and using architectural modeling tools and constructs.
• Demonstrated ability to align technology capabilities with business solutions and organizational objectives.
• Experience identifying user problems, assessing business needs, developing alternative solutions, and performing cost/benefit analyses.
• Experience working with programmers and technical teams through design, development, and implementation to ensure user needs are satisfied.
• Excellent technical, analytical, project management, problem-solving, negotiation, verbal communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Experience preparing project plans.

Desirable Qualifications:

• TOGAF certification or certification in a similar Enterprise Architecture framework.
