Role Overview:

The D&A Technical Partner plays a strategic role in guiding clients through the transformation of legacy data systems into modern, scalable architectures. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and client engagement skills to drive successful modernization initiatives. This person will provide leadership on the overall data engagement (across different dimensions like delivery, bid management, staffing, financials, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to whiteboard and define modernization/engineering goals and align them with business objectives.
  • Solution Development: Design and recommend data engineering, cloud-based data platforms, governance frameworks, and compliance strategies.
  • Business Development: Drive pre-sales activities, pitch data solutions, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Technical Expertise: Understand data management, data migration, data validation, cloud adoption, and integration strategies for enterprise data systems.
  • Data Leadership: Oversee data modernization, data pipeline development, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming architectures.
  • Execution: Manage end-to-end modernization initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and data governance best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, data modernization, cloud migration, and enterprise data governance.
  • Strong understanding of AI-driven analytics, data quality frameworks, and compliance regulations.
  • Expertise in data engineering, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and real-time processing.
  • Strong understanding of Banking and Financial Services industry.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud data platforms.
  • Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based databases (Snowflake, Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google BigQuery).
  • Experience with data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies and tools like databricks
  • Familiarity with banking and financial services.

Preferred Experience:

  • 15+ years in data architecture/engineering and/or cloud modernizations
  • Strong Pre Sales and Solutioning experience
  • Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or regulatory compliance.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
