Procurement Specialist II

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Specialist II in Houston, TX.

Summary:
The Procurement Specialist serves as the functional SME for digital procurement platforms, primarily Coupa, supporting adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement across the procure-to-pay (P2P) lifecycle. This role provides hands-on expertise in procurement technology, process enablement, automation, data governance, analytics, and AI-driven solutions. The individual will help design, configure, test, and deploy scalable digital solutions that improve compliance, efficiency, and user adoption while supporting Supply Chain objectives.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as the SME and solution owner for Coupa and related procurement technologies
* Support configuration, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of digital procurement platforms
* Enable efficient and compliant end-to-end P2P processes, including guided buying, requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing, and supplier enablement
* Manage master data, user access, integrations, testing, and system performance
* Identify and implement automation and digitization opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve compliance, and enhance user experience
* Analyze procurement, supplier, adoption, and system-performance data to drive process improvements and informed decision-making
* Support process standardization, change management, and user adoption initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
* 2-4 years of procurement, supply chain, or procurement systems experience
* Strong expertise with Coupa; SAP S/4HANA and/or Ariba experience preferred
* Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
* Experience with business analysis, process mapping, solution design, testing, documentation, and root-cause analysis
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail
* Coupa, SAP (S/4HANA or Ariba), PMP, Agile, Scrum, or Product Management certifications are preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
