Job Description:
We re looking for a proven Digital Media Analytics Leader to drive the analytical vision for our fast-growing Digital News & Media Practice. In this role, you will lead analytics across content, product, audience, and monetization owning the frameworks, models, and insights that shape how millions of users engage with our digital publishing ecosystem.
You ll manage a team of analysts and implementation engineers, partner closely with Newsroom, Product, Marketing, Advertising, and Audience Development, and deliver data-driven strategies that accelerate engagement, retention, and revenue. Ideal for someone who thrives across media analytics, ML deployment, experimentation, and digital product optimization.

Must-Have Requirements:
- Strong experience in the Publishing Industry (digital news, media, D2C content).
- Media agency experience is acceptable, but direct publishing experience is required.
- Proven ability to manage delivery and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong Descriptive & Prescriptive Analytics capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years in digital publishing, news media, or online content (subscription/D2C a plus).
- 5+ years in applied analytics or data science (product, growth, marketing analytics).
- 3+ years leading teams (formal or informal leadership).
- Hands-on ML Ops experience for model deployment and maintenance.
- Deep knowledge of digital analytics, experimentation (A/B, MVT), and user behavior.
- Proficiency with:
- Adobe Analytics, GA, Parse.ly, WordPress
- Tagging/implementation strategy
- SQL + BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Adobe Workspace)
- Cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- CDPs and customer data architecture.
- Understanding of AdTech (DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, ad servers) and media channels (Display, SEM, SEO, Social).
- Strong foundation in statistics, causal inference, experimental design.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
