NodeJS Developer-Full time-Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript, system design, and modern backend architectures including DDD, event-driven systems, and cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based web services for enterprise applications.
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Develop event-driven systems using messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Design and implement secure, high-performance APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experience.
• Apply software design principles and UML methodologies to create scalable and maintainable systems.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and OWASP guidelines.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Git-based tools.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ensure efficient data modeling and integration.
• Document system architecture, APIs, and development processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong focus on JavaScript.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture, DDD, and event-driven design.
• Expertise in REST APIs, API design, and integration patterns.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker and container-based deployments.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MuleSoft.
• Strong understanding of security practices (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
