This is an outstanding opportunity for a Sr. SAP TM Functional Analyst to participate in a large global greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation.

We have been in business for 50+ years, are publicly traded, have 7+K global employees, recognized $6.6 billion in revenues (7% increase over previous year), $153 million in profits (32% increase over previous year), have 750+ product patents, released 6 new products in in the past year and are an active philanthropic institution.
We are currently running a large global instance of SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 8 and have projects scheduled for the optimization and enhancement of the SAP TM modules. We are also in Phase 0 of a global greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition (RISE). The Sr. SAP TM Functional Analyst will join a team of SAP Analysts and will be responsible for the Support and Optimization of SAP Transportation Management and Logistics Execution including:
- Implementing new and upgrading, enhancing, customizing, and supporting SAP Transportation Management (TM) modules for an extremely large global SAP instance.
- Configuring SAP TM modules (including Freight Unit/Order management, planning profiles, and freight settlement).
- Managing Integration between SAP TM and cross-functional modules including SD (Delivery), MM (Procurement), EWM/WM (Warehousing), and FI (Settlement), as well as with external 3PL WMS/TMS platforms and carriers.
- Collecting and reviewing business requirements, recognizing gaps in business processes, creating functional designs, data and functional mapping, undertaking hands-on technical configuration of SAP TM modules, liaising with SAP ABAP developers, performing unit and integration tests, and analyzing results.
- In conjunction with the SAP S/4HANA Architect and Service Integrator, participate in the greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA Embedded TM.
The Sr. SAP TM Functional Analyst reports to the VP of Global SAP.
Requirements
- Must have 8+ years experience as an SAP TM (or LE-TRA) Functional Analyst / Consultant.
- Must have expert level experience configuring SAP TM modules (Freight Units, Freight Orders, Tendering, and Charge Calculation).
- Experience within global logistics environments involving both internal warehouses and 3PL-managed facilities.
- Experience in any of the following are only a Plus; NOT mandatory: any exposure to SAP SD, MM, EWM/WM, FI (Freight Settlement), SAP Embedded TM, and/or S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE); again, NOT mandatory.
