Job Title: Senior Cloud Application Developer
Location: 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC 27607
Duration: 6 months with Possible Extension
Work Mode: Contract / Hybrid (In-Person Interview required)
 
Job Summary
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Application Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications and serverless solutions using AWS and Azure. The candidate will focus on backend development, AI/ML integration, cloud architecture, and secure cloud services.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
  • Design and implement cloud architectures integrating AWS and Azure services.
  • Integrate Generative AI models using Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker.
  • Manage cloud databases, including Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Develop automated customer communication workflows using Amazon Connect.
  • Configure Amazon S3 storage and optimize content delivery using CloudFront.
  • Manage cloud security, IAM roles, encryption keys, secrets, and API Gateways.
  • Ensure cloud applications are scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performing.
 
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless application development.
  • Experience with backend application development.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker and AI/ML integration.
  • Experience with Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect, S3, and CloudFront.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, API Gateway, and secrets management.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
