Role Overview
We are hiring a GitHub Platform Engineer to own our CICD automation and developer tooling using GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building GitHub Actions workflows and leading application migrations to GitHub.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for build, test, security scan, and deployment pipelines.
Build reusable composite actions and custom actions for use across all development teams.
Implement deployment gates, environment protection rules, and approval workflows in GitHub Actions.
Integrate GitHub Actions pipelines with OpenShift, container registries, and artifact stores.
Lead migration of applications and pipelines to GitHub Actions.
Migrate repositories, branches, and history across GitHub organizations.
Administrator GitHub Enterprise: manage organizations, teams, branch protection, and access control.
Enforce GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) code scanning, secret scanning, and dependency review.
Required Skills
Having experience in writing GitHub Actions workflows for enterprise CICD.
Proven experience in CICD or application migration projects.
Knowledge of GitHub Enterprise administration and security features.
Proficiency in YAML, Bash, andor Python scripting.
Understanding of container builds, Docker, and deployment to KubernetesOpenShift.
