Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a Major Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a hybrid 6+ month contract opportunity. Summary: This role will support a Cybersecurity Data Operations team by analyzing, cleansing, and managing data from various upstream systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to create technical requirements and ensure data integrity within the organization's data warehouse environment.
Responsibilities: - Analyze data sources to understand data structure and quality
- Create technical requirements for data ingestion and transformation
- Cleanse and scrub data from upstream source systems
- Work with stakeholders and data development teams
- Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports
- Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools
Requirements: - Senior-level experience (10+ years) as a Data Analyst
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to SQL and relational databases
Desired skills: Pay range: up to $61.52 per hour
