Requested Qualifications

J2EE Technologies: 60 months of experience with J2EE, including JDBC, JSP, and XML.
Java EE Development: 60 months of experience developing and testing Java EE applications using modern IDEs like Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
Frameworks & Servers: 60 months of experience with J2EE frameworks (Spring or Struts) and Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic).
Relational Databases: 60 months of experience writing SQL statements.
System Analysis: 60 months of experience in the analysis and design of multi-tiered transactional systems.
Messaging Technologies: 36 months of experience with MQ, JMS, or Kafka.
Government Experience: 18 months of experience within a government organization involving technical design, maintenance, and end-user support.

Day-to-Day Tasks

Application Development: Act as a lead developer for the Tax Modernization effort, obtaining business requirements to build automated applications.
Programming & Maintenance: Perform lead programming duties for tax-related applications and provide ongoing support for maintenance activities.
Mentorship: Lead and mentor staff in various technologies, including J2EE, Spring, JSON, JavaScript, and JDBC.
Documentation: Develop and review detailed system documentation and program change specifications.
Testing: Create unit test plans based on user specifications and conduct debugging in the development environment.
Coordination: Manage the migration of code changes from the development environment to the user test environment.
Collaboration: Facilitate and participate in meetings with ITS and Department of Taxation and Finance (DTF) customers and management.
Project Guidance: Provide technical guidance throughout all phases of the project management life cycle
