Job Title: Business Analyst – Infrastructure & FTP
Location: REMOTE
 
Role Overview
Client is seeking a Business Analyst with strong infrastructure knowledge and hands-on FTP expertise to bridge business requirements with technical solutions. The analyst will collaborate with infrastructure teams, application owners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth data transfers, system integrations, and operational efficiency across enterprise environments.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to infrastructure and data transfer processes.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and operations teams to design and validate solutions.
  • Support FTP-based integrations, ensuring secure and reliable file transfers across systems.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements in infrastructure processes and workflows.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthroughs.
  • Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows for infrastructure-related projects.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, data security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support for testing, validation, and user acceptance.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in infrastructure-focused projects.
  • Strong knowledge of FTP protocols, file transfer processes, and related tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage).
  • Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to create functional specifications and process documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
