Job Summary:The main function of a mechanical technician is to modify, test and repair machinery and equipment under direction of engineering staff or physical scientists. A mechanical technician helps engineers design, test, and manufacture industrial machinery, consumer products and other equipment.
Looking for dyno testing experience, fabrication capability, and troubleshooting / problem solving experience.

- Engine development manual testing with calibration and hardware development.
Requirements:- Education - Associate's degree in engineering technology or related field required.
- Years of experience - 8-10 years' experience required
- Diesel technology or automotive technology degrees is helpful
- Being a team player is very important

Shift Info:On-Site 5 days/week
3 positions - 2nd shift
1 position - 3rd shift
Training on 1 shift and then will more than likely be put on an off shift
Training on 1st shift for about 2 months
1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30AM
Work location - MI - Pontiac Engineering Center GPS - 850 North Glenwood Avenue - Bldg
