Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise across both backend and frontend development, with deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, modern UI frameworks, databases, cloud technologies, and CI/CD.

The candidate will work closely with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers to build highly scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable applications.

Required Technical Skills

Backend Development

• 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and Java design principles.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with API security using OAuth2, JWT, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong understanding of dependency injection, design patterns, and application architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or similar platforms.

Frontend Development

• Strong experience developing modern web applications using React.js and/or Angular.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and AJAX.
• Experience building reusable UI components and responsive web applications.
• Understanding of frontend application architecture, state management, routing, and API integration.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful backend services.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and browser compatibility.

Database Development

• Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and database optimization.
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, JDBC, and Spring Data.
• Ability to analyze and optimize complex queries and database performance.
• Experience with data modeling and transaction management.

Microservices & Integration

• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and developing scalable REST-based services.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, service-to-service communication, configuration management, and fault tolerance.
• Experience integrating applications with third-party and enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of SOAP Web Services is a plus.
• Experience working with JSON, XML, messaging systems, and external APIs.

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, Azure App Services, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release management.

Testing & Quality

• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Spring Boot Test, or similar testing frameworks.
• Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI for API testing.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and automated testing.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows coding standards.
• Experience troubleshooting application defects and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade full stack applications.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Design and implement secure and high-performance REST APIs.
• Develop responsive and reusable frontend components using React.js and/or Angular.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and enterprise systems.
• Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data-access components.
• Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API communication.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Troubleshoot application, database, API, and production issues.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
• Work with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and support applications across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical leadership.
• Participate in production support, root-cause analysis, and resolution of critical issues.
