MTA Technician
Core Responsibilities:
· Field Work
o Preventative Maintenance
§ Complete preventative maintenance on MTA equipment
§ Ensure the preventative maintenance schedule is up to date
§ Update Service Ticket
o Project Work
§ Complete installations to include cabling, conduit, cameras, etc.
§ Ensure project quality is meeting both company and client standards
§ Ensure SOP’s are followed to complete project work
§ Provide proper documentation (as-build, cable test results) for completed projects
§ Complete cable terminations and test the cable to ensure quality meets both Skyline and MTA standards
o Service
§ Properly update assigned service tickets
§ Test, Troubleshoot, and fix impacted equipment
§ Ensure tickets are updated daily
§ Request additional information from the customer as needed and follow up
§ Ensure contract SLA’s are met for service tickets
§ Attend work block meetings as needed
o Reporting
§ Assist with monthly reports
§ Assist with monthly inventory
§ Document serial numbers and asset tags as needed
· Support
o Understand and operate service ticketing queue
o Learn and assist in lab/staging process (camera/server configurations, badging, etc.)
o On call support
· Maintain steady improvement in technical knowledge
o Acquire customer badges and setup vendor accounts as needed
o Maintain training for multiple manufactures (Genetec, Axis, Briefcam, etc.)
o Maintain knowledge of current SOP’s
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma/GED
· Must Have 2+ years in CCTV and/ Service-related field
· Valid driver’s license with a good record
· Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
