Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks accomplished Epic Cadence & Referral Authorization Analyst.

*** Duration: 26-week contract w/ possibility of extension
Notes:
- 100% Remote role.
- Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM Pacific Time.
- Equipment will be provided.
Description:
- Senior level Cadence and Referral skillset.
- Complex WQ structures and rule build.
- Implementation of referral creation from order and utilizing referral templates for WQ routing.
- Ability to work independently with fast moving engagements and tight timelines.
Qualifications:
- Seeking a Senior Epic APeX Cadence Analyst with strong experience in Cadence scheduling workflows and Referral/Authorization build.
- This role requires an independent consultant who can quickly support fast moving implementation and optimization efforts with minimal oversight.
- The ideal candidate will have hands on experience building complex workqueue structures, configuring referral routing logic, and implementing referral workflows driven from orders.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in high pace environments with tight timelines and changing priorities.
- Epic Cadence Certification required.
- Epic Referral & Authorization Certification required.
- Senior level Epic Cadence build experience.
- Strong experience with complex workqueue (WQ) structures and rule configuration.
- Experience implementing referral creation from orders.
- Experience utilizing referral templates for workqueue routing.
- Knowledge of referral and authorization workflows within Epic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting fast paced implementation or optimization engagements.
- Strong troubleshooting and workflow design skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Nice to Haves:
- Previous consulting experience.
- Experience with ambulatory scheduling optimization.
- Experience designing automated referral routing workflows.
- Large health system or enterprise Epic environment experience.
- Go live, stabilization, or remediation project experience.
- Strong understanding of operational scheduling and referral processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in remote environments.
