Job Title: Senior Category Manager - Site & Indirect Services
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Category Manager - Site & Indirect Services to lead the strategic sourcing and management of our multi-million dollar indirect spend portfolio. You will be responsible for defining the category strategy, negotiating enterprise-level agreements, and partnering with internal leadership to drive operational excellence across our manufacturing and corporate sites.
This is a high-visibility leadership role. You will own the full lifecycle of the category, from market analysis and supplier selection to the delivery of sustainable cost savings and productivity gains. If you are a results-oriented procurement leader who thrives in a global, matrixed environment and can translate business requirements into long-term supplier partnerships, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Value Delivery
Strategic Ownership: Manage a high-value category spend portfolio, ensuring alignment with global procurement objectives. Develop and execute long-term category strategies that optimize Quality, Service, Technology, and Value (QSTV).
Cost & Performance: Deliver annual cost savings and avoidance targets. Implement robust productivity plans and continuous improvement pipelines that drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization.
Contractual Excellence: Lead complex negotiations for global and regional supply agreements. Ensure contracts contain ideal commercial terms, robust service level agreements (SLAs), and clear KPIs.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
Supplier Lifecycle: Lead the qualification of alternate and second-source suppliers to mitigate risk and increase value. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to drive supplier performance, address capability gaps, and foster innovation.
Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with internal business unit leaders and operations stakeholders to determine future sourcing needs. Act as the primary liaison between our organization and the supply base to ensure seamless service delivery.
Leadership & Influence: Functionally supervise sourcing specialists and lead diverse, cross-functional teams in collaborative sourcing efforts. Build consensus across global sites and functional silos.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
Experience Baseline: 5+ years of progressive experience in Procurement or Category Management, specifically within indirect/site services.
Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience with e-Sourcing tools and the full source-to-contract process.
Communication: Ability to partner effectively with senior-level leaders in a global, matrixed organization.
Preferred Attributes
Proven track record of successful negotiation in both internal and external environments.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to travel (up to 20%) to manage global category interests.
A "Service-Oriented" mindset-you approach procurement as an enabler of business success rather than just a cost-containment function.
