Platform / DevOps Engineer AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Platform / DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure while supporting modern platform engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

This role involves collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to improve system reliability, automation, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI

• Maintain Windows and Linux server environments

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management

• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments

• Implement monitoring and logging using tools such as CloudWatch or New Relic

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues

• Implement cloud security and best practices

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation and platform reliability

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK)

• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)

• Strong scripting skills (Python / Bash / PowerShell / Ruby)

• Linux and Windows administration

• Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing)

Nice to Have

• Docker or Kubernetes

• Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure

• AWS or Google Cloud Platform Certifications
