Summary

We're looking for an experienced AEM consultant to take the lead on client-facing technical work across multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping solutions, guiding teams, and translating business needs into high-quality digital experiences.
Responsibilities
  • Lead technical delivery across multiple client projects with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance
  • Act as a client-facing technical lead in meetings, adapting communication for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and implementation plans
  • Support all phases of the development lifecycle from planning through release
  • Review code and provide thoughtful feedback to help maintain strong engineering standards
  • Create technical documentation, including architecture outlines and solution specifications
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code
  • Manage and coordinate software releases
  • Explore and apply new technologies that improve delivery and outcomes
  • Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge across the team
Skills
  • 6+ years of hands-on AEM development experience in a professional environment
  • 3+ years of experience in technical leadership and team management
  • Strong working knowledge of AEM, Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server
  • Experience architecting and launching sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Solid problem-solving skills and a strong ownership mindset
  • Understanding of Agile practices, especially Scrum, and unit testing approaches
  • Experience integrating with third-party platforms and systems
  • Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, caching, CDNs, and persistence layers
  • A background in computer science, engineering, a bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AJO or AEP
  • Exposure to Salesforce, MuleSoft, Commerce, or similar integrated environments
  • Experience working in agency or client-facing environments
  • Familiarity with mentoring senior engineers and guiding technical decisions across projects
