Summary

CloudBerry Services is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team supporting enterprise applications across cloud, fintech, and SaaS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines using modern tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, requiring 2–3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation testing frameworks
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Perform API testing for RESTful services and microservices
• Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub)
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes
• Track and manage defects using JIRA

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress
• Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience testing REST APIs / Microservices
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Appium / Mobile Automation
• Experience with AWS or cloud environments
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• ISTQB Certification

Eligibility

Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and able to work onsite in Toronto 2–3 days per week.
