Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with a specialization in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves contributing to cloud deployments, designing service-oriented architectures, and building secure APIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, cloud technologies, and integrating complex systems within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to production cloud deployments in a hands-on engineering capacity.
- Design and implement solutions based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and cloud-native principles.
- Build and secure APIs for distributed cloud systems, focusing on identity context sharing and integration with IAM systems.
- Integrate multiple cloud services and third-party applications in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for cloud platforms and information security applications.
- Develop and maintain solutions for cloud service authentication and authorization, including OAuth.
- Manage identity lifecycles, including user provisioning and de-provisioning, and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
- Correlate and normalize identity and access data to build cohesive data models.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 10+ years in software development with a focus on cloud technologies and distributed systems.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) in enterprise settings.
- 5+ years of domain expertise in AWS, Microservices, cloud integration, and access management.
- 3+ years managing the full SDLC for cloud/hybrid applications.
- 3+ years working with cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes/Docker, cloud databases, application servers, and networking (VPC, load balancers, API gateways).
- 3+ years designing and implementing cloud solutions with integrated security and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with REST API development in Java or Python.
Technical Skills:- Must-Have: AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, GenAI enablement, AWS IAM, AWS Networking (VPC, ALB, NLB).
- Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services (EC2, EKS, ECS, KMS, S3, RDS).
- Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation.
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Git, Artifactory.
- Programming: Java (Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate), Python, Groovy, Perl, or Ruby.
- IAM & Security: OAuth, SAML federation, and MFA integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WebAuthn.
- Familiarity with Istio, Helm, and package management tools like pip.
- Knowledge of security tools and practices such as PKI, SSL/TLS, and fuzzing.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Robot Framework or Sauce Labs.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies like Scrum.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular) or .NET languages (C#, VB .NET).
