Summary
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong AWS/cloud background to support Agile delivery teams working on cloud-based applications and infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with engineering, DevOps, product, and business teams and have a solid understanding of AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach teams on Agile/Scrum best practices and continuous improvement
- Remove impediments and help teams resolve delivery risks and dependencies
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog
- Track sprint progress, velocity, risks, issues, and delivery commitments
- Coordinate across application, DevOps, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams
- Support delivery of AWS-based projects and cloud migration initiatives
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Help manage dependencies across multiple Scrum teams
- Drive release planning and ensure transparency of project status
- Support Agile metrics and reporting using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Required Skills
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master
- Hands-on experience supporting AWS/cloud projects
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, and cloud migration concepts
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
- Certified ScrumMaster CSM, PSM, or equivalent
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate-level certification
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker
- Experience in enterprise cloud modernization or migration programs
- Experience working in regulated or government environments
