Objectives of this role
Develop comprehensive documentation on the support process, workflows and technical configuration needed to support business applications
Gain deep understanding of products and business applications, and translate complex information into simple, user-friendly content
Create linkages to reference materials, including requirements, test materials, and design specifications
Responsibilities
Research and write content, working closely with various departments to understand support requirements
Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories and determine best solutions for compilation
Required skills and qualifications
Three or more years of experience as an effective technical writer
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Experience in working with both technology and business stakeholders
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
