Job Description: Adobe Cloud Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Cloud Architect to lead the design, migration, and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions using Adobe Experience Cloud. This role focuses on architecture, strategy, and integration, supporting on-prem to cloud migrations, future-proof system design, and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Adobe Experience Cloud implementations.

• Support and guide migration of on-prem Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to Adobe Cloud Services.

• Define future-proof architecture strategies aligned with business and technology roadmaps.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation plans.

• Design and oversee integrations between Adobe platforms and external enterprise systems (CRM, data platforms, identity providers).

• Act as a strategic advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, providing architectural guidance and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Engineering, Data, and DevOps.

• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and governance standards.

Essential Skills

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

• Strong experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Strong understanding of solution architecture and system design

• Experience supporting cloud migrations and modernization initiatives

• Excellent stakeholder communication and consulting skills

Platform & Technology Expertise

• Adobe Experience Cloud components, including:

  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Adobe Analytics

  • Adobe Target

  • Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)

  • Adobe Real-Time CDP (RTCDP)

• Integration of Adobe platforms with:

  • CRMs

  • Data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)

  • Third-party platforms via APIs and data pipelines

Coding & Scripting (Preferred)

• Strong background in software engineering

• Proficiency or working knowledge of:

  • Java

  • Python

  • JavaScript / TypeScript

• Ability to support automation, custom integrations, and extensions

Networking, DevOps & Security

• Solid understanding of:

  • Cloud networking principles

  • Cloud security best practices

  • DevOps methodologies

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:

  • Adobe Cloud Manager

  • Jenkins

Methodologies & Ways of Working

• Agile / Scrum delivery models

• Experience working in large enterprise environments

• Strong documentation and governance practices

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience

• Proven experience in Adobe Experience Cloud architecture

• Prior experience in enterprise-scale digital platforms
