Job description: The team is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to support its Mechanical Engineering organization. This role focuses on developing and enhancing software solutions around Siemens NX and Teamcenter, improving CAD/PLM workflows, automating engineering processes, and integrating engineering systems with enterprise platforms. This role works closely with Mechanical Engineers and requires strong understanding of CAD/3D engineering data. It is not a general web or backend development position.
Core Requirements: - 5-7+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET
- Experience working with Siemens NX in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Understanding of CAD/3D engineering data and PLM concepts
- Experience integrating systems with ERP, PLM, or ECAD tools
- Manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial experience preferred
Responsibilities: - Develop custom applications, automation, and integrations around Siemens NX
- Build and enhance solutions using C# / .NET (legacy VB/.NET modernization to C#)
- Develop integrations between NX, Teamcenter, ERP (SAP), and ECAD systems
- Partner with Mechanical Engineers to translate business and design needs into technical solutions
- Support NX upgrades, Checkmate initiatives, and PLM improvements
- Take ownership of features from development through production deployment
- Work across multiple teams and navigate ambiguous engineering requirement
Preferred skills: - Experience with NXOpen APIs
- Exposure to Teamcenter (TC14 preferred)
- Checkmate development experience
- Familiarity with GitHub / SCM tools
- Cloud exposure (AWS is a plus)
- Strong bias for action and ability to work in ambiguous environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80.00 - $80.00/hr.
