Rate : $46 - $48/per hr on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with over 4 years of expertise in performance testing and engineering within SDLC/TDLC environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure application scalability, reliability, and responsiveness across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• 4+ years of experience working within SDLC/TDLC
• 4+ years of testing experience specifically within the Performance testing/Engineering discipline
• Experience with utility industry and with utility operations and ADMS in particular
• Solid understanding of Performance test process methodologies, approaches and tools
• Extensive experience with Performance testing and automation tools such as LoadRunner, LoadRunner Cloud, Jmeter, Neoload, or similar
• Solid understanding of web and mobile applications and implementations
• Strong in one of the coding languages: Java, python etc.
• Expertise in metrics gathering and developing dashboards and reports which clearly and concisely capture and communicate performance testing analysis / results
• Demonstrated competency with various tools including Defect Management Tools,
• Hands-on experience with Performance engineering and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, CloudWatch etc
• Hands-on experience within API REST/SOAP testing and experience using related tools SOAP UI, Postman etc.
• Experience with CI/CD and related tools and techniques; Jenkins/Dockers/Kubernetes an asset
• Has at least 2 years experience working in onsite-offshore model.
