THE WORK:- You'll attend current client meetings, water-related network events as well as prospect meetings along with our senior managers.
- You'll schedule, facilitate, and document simple proposal kick-off and color review milestones in alignment with proposal
- You'll work under close oversight from your manager to ensure accuracy, timeliness, quality, and compliance.
- You'll compile and distribute meeting notes, action items, and review comments from all proposal meetings.
- You'll perform detailed analysis of Advertisements, SOQs, and RFP requirements, prepare compliance matrices/outlines, and coordinate tasks for the proposal team.
- You'll communicate deadlines and follow up with technical teams to ensure timely content development.
- You'll coordinate proposal resources, including project management, technical teams, proposal support, subconsultants, graphics/print teams, and corporate stakeholders (legal, HR, financial).
- You'll identify and prioritize tasks, developing proposal production schedules for Manager review.
- You'll review all work products to ensure completion, quality, and adherence to internal best practices and quality control standards.
- You'll edit and review technical sections.
- You'll ensure all changes from review meetings are incorporated.
- You'll enter key proposal data and milestones into the CRM system.
- You'll support sales interview teams when needed, under Senior Manager oversight.
- You'll collaborate with graphic designers to develop proposals and presentations.
- You'll bring in new business based on the extensive network you bring to Accenture I&CP.
- You'll partner closely with our GrowthOps team in addition to our CA Water team.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- 5+ years of experience working within or partnering with California water authorities, such as MWD, CDWR, and San Diego Water Authority, etc.
- Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business or similar field
- Minimum 5 years of combined prior proposal experience is required, including a progressively increasing level of responsibility during the past year
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:- Extensive network within the Southern CA Water community
- Capable of facilitating strategy and storyboarding sessions
- Experience developing proposal responses that include orals slides and video or live presentations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to travel 20-30% of the year
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
