Senior Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Knoxville, TN.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and support analytics and reporting capabilities across multiple platforms
* Build functionality and visualizations using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Celonis, and similar technologies
* Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and document future development needs
* Apply established coding standards and best practices during development
* Perform unit, end-to-end, and integration testing using defined test cases
* Document technical functionality and operational processes in enterprise repositories
* Deliver functional demos to business and technical stakeholders
* Support applications through troubleshooting, debugging, and solution development
* Participate in solution design and implementation efforts
* Analyze and document data usage across source systems
* Identify master data domains and support creation of enterprise golden records
* Perform metadata collection and derive data lineage from source to target
* Improve data quality through data stewardship initiatives
* Partner with business and technical data owners to curate datasets and data products
* Conduct data mining and analysis to identify process efficiencies and data gaps
* Document data flows and business process flows
* Train business users on data cataloging, workflows, and application usage
* Lead cross-functional meetings and major project initiatives
* Mentor junior Data Analysts and perform code reviews
* Drive root cause analysis during critical support incidents
* Stay current on emerging tools and platform enhancements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree, and/or equivalent experience, in related technology, computer science, development, or related field required
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

* Data Modeling and ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes
* Data Mining
* Customer (Business Partner) Facing Role
* Data Visualization
* Statistics/Analysis
* Exploratory data analysis via code
* Process Mining/Documentation
* Process Flow Creation and Analysis
* SQL
* SLAs and SLOs for data coming into data lake
* Experience working with Relational Databases
* Master Data/Data Catalog

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
