Summary
Job Title: Infrastructure Technical Specialist (ITS)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa (Hybrid/Onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage AWS infrastructure supporting enterprise applications
- Manage AWS-based VDI environments (WorkSpaces or similar)
- Serve as primary administrator for FileCloud (Linux/MongoDB environment)
- Handle user onboarding, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for FileCloud users
- Monitor system performance, security, and compliance across cloud platforms
- Perform patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting (including on-call support)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide regular status updates
- Support cloud adoption initiatives including migration, deployment, and optimization
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure administration
- Strong experience with AWS VDI environments
- 5+ years of FileCloud administration (Linux/MongoDB)
- Expertise in cloud security, monitoring, and compliance
- Experience with distributed systems architecture on cloud platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments (network, performance, connectivity)
- Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and CLI tools
- Knowledge of networking, storage, and infrastructure components
- Familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively learn new technologies
