About the Role

In this role, you will support complex, large-scale initiatives within Specialty Software Engineering, with a focus on advanced GenAI and cybersecurity systems. You will consult on technical strategy, evaluate multi-layered engineering challenges, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet engineering, policy, and compliance requirements.

You will design and implement GenAI-driven capabilities that enhance threat modeling, risk evaluation, and secure-design processes. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate cybersecurity domain knowledge into scalable AI-powered systems.
Responsibilities
AI & Systems Engineering

• Design and implement GenAI components, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent reasoning workflows, and LLM-based decisioning systems.
• Build secure and efficient integrations between LLMs and backend services that support automated threat modeling and cyber-risk triage.
• Implement vector search, embeddings pipelines, and semantic indexing across cybersecurity datasets (e.g., threat models, vulnerabilities, requirements, code metadata).

Cybersecurity-Focused AI Development

• Operationalize cyber-risk methodologies into model prompts, decision trees, structured outputs, and automated scoring logic.
• Encode domain-specific threat and security knowledge into GenAI systems capable of classifying, summarizing, and prioritizing risk with measurable accuracy and traceability.
• Develop AI-driven reasoning agents to support secure-design reviews, code assessment checks, and policy-to-control mapping.

Data & Pipeline Engineering

• Build ingestion pipelines that prepare diverse cybersecurity artifacts-including logs, threat intelligence, architecture diagrams, requirements, and controls-into formats optimized for downstream AI models.

Consulting & Strategy

• Review and analyze complex engineering challenges that require deep evaluation of multiple technical, operational, and compliance-related factors.
• Contribute to resolution of multi-faceted engineering issues by applying a solid understanding of organizational policies, processes, and standards.
• Collaborate strategically with client stakeholders to align engineering solutions with business goals and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrated through a combination of:
  • professional work
  • consulting engagements
  • education or training
  • military service
