What you'll be doing...

Lead, supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development opportunities. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with organizational goals. Bolster, develop, motivate, and retain a world-class team, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and continuous evaluation of the team, while fostering individual career development and high morale. Responsible for architecture, design, business rule development, and implementation of new and enhanced functionality within the digital service space. Act as a liaison between IT and the business community to develop business and system requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources, including analysis and feedback from end users, subject matter experts, and architects. Deliver results within budget, time, quality, and strategic and tactical key performance goals. Review the critical operational parameters and plans on a frequent basis with the senior management team. Work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering team for deployment and monitoring of these apps. Ensure that reported issues and tickets are closed on time. Partner with the business units to establish goals, influence, and effectively communicate the vision set by senior leadership. Partner with Verizon India and other managed services teams. Define resource capacity plans for all of the digital modules supported. Build a highly motivated and talented team, coach and mentor them to focus on operational excellence. Present problem statements, data, conclusions, and recommendations in a consumable, meaningful, and insightful manner. Work with cross-functional teams to define and deliver solutions for the use, extraction, and transformation of data. Demonstrate excellent communication abilities to articulate the vision and translate complex issues into comprehensible ideas and concepts. Handle administrative and resource management of a portfolio comprising multiple projects and large teams. Accountable for sound financial decisions required to manage significant capital and expense budgets.

What we're looking for...

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field, and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, Technology Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 8 years with the following:
  • Software Development;
  • Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery;
  • JS frameworks such as Backbone, react or angular;
  • AWS, Teradata, Cloud Platforms such as Oracle OCI, MS Azure, and AWS;
  • Modern data platform technologies; and
  • Microservices, Web Services, Spring, and Oracle.

Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

RATE OF PAY: $183,193-$242,000/per year

Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
