Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to support one of its top clients in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across multi-cloud environments, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud security architecture, risk management, vulnerability management, cloud security monitoring, DevSecOps, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure environments.
- Protect cloud-hosted applications, infrastructure, and sensitive data by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Implement and maintain cloud security monitoring and detection solutions.
- Automate cloud security controls and operational processes.
- Conduct security risk assessments and cloud architecture reviews.
- Perform vulnerability management, remediation, and continuous security monitoring.
- Support incident response and forensic investigations for cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to implement cloud security best practices.
- Produce security reports, documentation, and executive-level communication.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience designing and securing cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with:
