Job Overview:
Pay Range $45hr - $50hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 12-15 years of overall IT experience with minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with PowerBI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles.
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other database technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and other advanced features of Power BI.
- Build efficient data models using Power BI Desktop, create calculated columns and measures using advanced DAX functions, and optimize performance.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including SQL Server, Excel, Share Point, Rest API s, Azure, and other enterprise databases.
- Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for BI solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on Power BI best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and data visualization.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Oil & Gas industry.
- Familiarity with other BI tools such as Cognos.
- Knowledge of Azure services related to data and analytics.
