Job Title : SWIFT Technology Developer
Location : ONSITE- Charlotte, NC

Key Responsibilities
SWIFT Platform Development & Integration
• Design, develop, and maintain SWIFT integration solutions supporting cross-border and domestic payment processing.
• Implement and support SWIFT messaging interfaces such as:
o MT Messages
o MX Messages (ISO 20022)
o FIN
o InterAct
o FileAct
• Develop middleware and APIs to facilitate communication between SWIFT infrastructure and internal banking/payment applications.
• Build message transformation and routing solutions for SWIFT traffic.
SWIFT Infrastructure & Support
• Configure, administer, and support:
o SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA)
o SWIFT Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH)
o SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG)
o SWIFTNet
o SWIFT Integration Layer components
• Manage message queues, routing rules, interfaces, and connectivity components.
• Support SWIFT upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments.
• Monitor SWIFT environments and troubleshoot connectivity, message flow, and performance issues.
ISO 20022 & Message Transformation
• Participate in ISO 20022 migration initiatives.
• Develop MT-to-MX and MX-to-MT message mapping and transformation solutions.
• Validate message schemas and ensure compliance with SWIFT standards.
• Support coexistence and migration strategies across payment systems.
Payment Systems Integration
• Integrate SWIFT systems with:
o Fedwire
o CHIPS
o RTP
o ACH
o SEPA
o Internal payment engines
• Build interfaces supporting real-time and batch payment processing.
• Ensure payment message delivery, acknowledgment, reconciliation, and exception handling.
Application Development
• Develop Java-based applications and services supporting SWIFT messaging workflows.
• Design REST/SOAP APIs and microservices for payment integrations.
• Create automation utilities for message validation, monitoring, and operational support.
• Develop scripts for operational efficiency and environment management.
Production Support
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for SWIFT applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex message processing issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Support disaster recovery and high-availability environments.
Security & Compliance
• Implement SWIFT CSP (Customer Security Program) controls.
• Ensure secure message transmission and encryption standards.
• Support audits, vulnerability assessments, and regulatory compliance activities."

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• SWIFT certification or equivalent industry experience.
