Job DescriptionWhat You Will Be Doing:- Designing, installing, configuring, and testing operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Proactively monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to ensure high availability.
- Implementing and maintaining robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Developing custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components.
- Working closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support.
- Researching and assessing emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations.
Required SkillsMust Have:- MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a systems engineer.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, server administration, virtualization (e.g., Python).
- Ability to see the big picture, analyze complex systems, and perform cost-benefit analyses.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
