Title: Change Management Consultant (OCM) – Data & IT Transformation
Location: Fully Remote (Must work in PST time zone)
Duration: 6-Month W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $60–$74/hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading enterprise retail organization to hire a Change Management Consultant to support a strategic IT and data transformation initiative.
This role will lead organizational change management (OCM) efforts to ensure successful adoption of new systems, technologies, and processes. The engagement will begin with a pilot phase, followed by a broader enterprise rollout.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in data-driven implementations, enterprise technology delivery, and organizational change management within retail or eCommerce environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end organizational change management strategy and execution for an IT transformation program.
- Drive change adoption across business teams impacted by new technology and data initiatives.
- Develop and execute communication, training, and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Translate data insights into executive-level narratives to support decision-making.
- Partner with IT teams, program managers, and business leaders to align change activities with delivery milestones.
- Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional collaboration across teams.
- Create and manage deliverables using SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Monitor adoption metrics and change effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies related to organizational change.
Data & Analytics Focus
This role requires strong data literacy and analytics interpretation skills, including the ability to:
- Query, analyze, and interpret data sets
- Translate technical data insights for business stakeholders
- Support data-driven decision making during implementation
- Document and communicate data processes and analytics insights
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of organizational change management experience in IT environments
- Experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology implementations (ERP, CRM, cloud migration, or similar)
- Strong experience supporting data-heavy programs or analytics platforms
- Proven ability to execute project plans and drive change adoption
- Retail or eCommerce industry experience
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Prosci, ACMP, or similar Change Management certification
- Experience with Jira or Smartsheet
- Background as a Technical Program Manager or transformation lead
- Familiarity with change methodologies such as ADKAR
