Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled : Java Developer/Lead Java Developer to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Charlotte, NC/Irving, TX.

Title: Java Developer/Lead Java Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC/Irving, TX

Long term Contract Hiring

Backend-focused Lead Java Developer position requiring a minimum of 12 years of overall experience, including 5+ years of SQL development.
Primary Tech Stack: Strong, hands-on proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot microservices, Kafka/JMS, and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
Secondary & Preferred Skills: Requires experience with Cloud environments, Test Automation, and React. Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes is highly preferred.
Core Responsibilities: Independently design and develop scalable enterprise systems capable of handling high data volumes, taking full ownership of tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Collaboration & Quality: Work closely with peer developers and cross-functional teams to ensure functional requirements are translated accurately into technical designs and reliable automated test plans.
Logistics & Work Environment: Requires a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days a week working from the client''s office) and the flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
