  • Tooling & Technology Leadership:Champion and demonstrate the use of AI to solve data problems.
  • Execution & Delivery:Act with a strong sense of urgency to drive projects from conception to completion. Troubleshoot complex data-related issues and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner closely with business leaders, portfolio managers, financial advisors, and technology teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:10+ years of experience in technology roles within major financial services firms, with a significant portion dedicated to wealth management.
  • Data Warehousing & Cloud:Proven track record of working with analytical data platforms and data warehouses through their technological evolution, from on-premise traditional systems (e.g., Teradata, Oracle) to modern cloud-based solutions.
  • Data Modeling Expertise:Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing complex data models specifically for the wealth management industry. Must be able to articulate the nuances of wealth data.
  • Data Lifecycle Management:Hands-on experience building frameworks for the end-to-end data lifecycle: ingestion, curation, and distribution.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with data wrangling and preparation tools (e.g.,Dataiku, Alteryx, or similar).
    • Advanced skills in data visualization tools (e.g.,Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
    • Strong SQL skills and experience with various database technologies.
    • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python for data manipulation.
  • Mindset:A proactive, "get-it-done" attitude with a proven ability to act with urgency and navigate a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Integrator:Ability to think holistically and bridge the gap between operational and analytical systems, understanding the dependencies and data flows.
