We are growing our Enterprise Data & Engineering team!

We're looking for a Principal Analytics Engineer to help shape how marketing data is transformed, modeled, and structured to power analytics and business decision-making across the enterprise. Are you motivated by shaping scalable, trusted, analytics-ready data products that drive real impact across digital marketing and consumer engagement?

In this role, you will play a key part in evolving the enterprise approach to marketing data modeling, taxonomy, and semantic layer design, helping establish how performance is consistently defined, measured, and compared across platforms. You will operate as a senior technical leader-driving standard methodologies, guiding complex initiatives, and influencing standards-while remaining hands-on in critical areas.

You will help enable production-grade transformation frameworks and curated datasets that unify data from major advertising and social platforms, ensuring reporting and business metrics are accurate, consistent, and performant.

What You'll Do
  • Contribute to and evolve the enterprise analytics modeling approach for marketing data, including dimensional modeling standards and semantic layer design.
  • Help define and maintain a common marketing taxonomy and metric framework, enabling consistency across platforms and use cases in partnership with business teams.
  • Lead the integration and transformation of data from major advertising platforms (e.g., Google, YouTube, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), accounting for differences in platform-specific metrics and definitions.
  • Design scalable data transformation frameworks using DBT, Databricks, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Develop and enhance analytics-ready marketing data products across campaigns, channels, and regions.
  • Establish and promote standards for data quality, testing, documentation, and lineage within the transformation layer.
  • Partner with data engineering and marketing teams to align upstream ingestion (including API-based data sources) with downstream modeling and reporting needs.
  • Influence technical direction and drive alignment across teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Lead complex initiatives to improve data consistency, comparability, and usability across marketing analytics.
  • Mentor and guide analytics engineers, elevating modeling practices and technical rigor across the team.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience shaping and implementing analytics engineering practices and standards, particularly for marketing or digital advertising data.
  • Strong hands-on experience working with APIs from major advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, TikTok), including data ingestion and normalization challenges.
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific metrics and definitions, and how they vary across ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to common taxonomies, metric frameworks, and naming conventions across multiple data sources.
  • Expertise in SQL, DBT, and Databricks, along with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar language for transformation, automation, and API interaction.
  • Advanced knowledge of dimensional modeling, semantic layer architecture, and data warehousing standards.
  • Experience implementing data quality frameworks, validation processes, and documentation standards at scale.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, influencing architecture while contributing to key implementations.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to align teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting advanced analytics or AI-enabled marketing use cases is a plus.
