Summary

Responsibilities

Design and maintain databases, including stored procedures, indexing, and data models.
Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and workflows using SSIS, Python, PySpark, and SQL Server.
Execute large-scale data migrations, including data cleansing, validation, and transformation.
Develop and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views.
Build data ingestion and transformation workflows across raw, staging, curated, and analytics layers.
Build and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS and Power BI.
Design and implement logical and physical data models (ERDs).
Support transactional and reporting systems.
Provide production support, including troubleshooting performance issues and on-call support when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development, code reviews, and release cycles.
Provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

10+ years of experience in database development or data engineering.
Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
Experience with SSIS, Python, or PySpark.
Strong background in data modeling and data integration.
Experience with SSRS and Power BI.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins.
Experience supporting critical applications in financial, government, or legal industries.
