Sr Oracle Fusion Cloud Solution Architect - Source-to-Pay (Oracle Fusion Cloud, Coupa, ERP)

Our client is embarking on a multi year transformation of its Finance corporate systems, implementing Oracle Fusion ERP for core financial capabilities and Coupa for Source to Pay (S2P). We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to define the strategy and architectural design for the S2P domain, with a strong emphasis on integration patterns, data flows, and alignment between Coupa and Oracle Fusion ERP. This architect will play a key role in shaping the end state architecture, guiding design decisions, and ensuring the solution meets both functional and enterprise standards.
Responsibilities - What you will be doing?
Ø Lead the architecture and design for the Source to Pay (S2P) ecosystem.
Ø Define integration patterns and oversee design of Coupa–Oracle Fusion ERP integrations.
Ø Develop high level and detailed solution architecture artifacts (diagrams, models, standards).
Ø Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Technology stakeholders to validate requirements.
Ø Provide architectural governance for functional and technical design decisions.
Ø Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and security requirements.
Ø Evaluate third party tools, integration platforms, and middleware approaches.
Ø Guide engineering teams during build, testing, and deployment phases.
Ø Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies across the S2P landscape.
Ø Support roadmap, sequencing, and strategy for the multi year ERP transformation
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Multiple years of solution architecture experience supporting large-scale ERP or SaaS transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) applications (Coupa experience would be ideal)
• Deep expertise integrating SaaS applications using modern patterns such as REST, event-driven integration, or middleware platforms.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance and/or Procurement), including hands on solution design involving Oracle ERP integrations with external systems.
• Experience integrating Oracle ERP with a SaaS S2P solution (e.g., Coupa preferred, but experience with other SaaS S2P solutions would also be fine).
• Experience migrating Oracle PeopleSoft Finance to Oracle ERP SaaS would be beneficial.
• Integrating S2P and a tax engine would be a plus.
• Solid understanding of master data domains, transactional data flows, and workflow/process design across Finance and S2P functions.
• Ability to produce clear and consumable architectural diagrams, models, and design documentation for both business and technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional architecture discussions and solution decision-making.
• Familiarity with cloud security standards, integration governance, and compliance considerations for SaaS ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Desirable to have experience with Draw.io and LeanIX
