Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Regulatory Risk & Compliance Reporting team within the Business Technology & Innovation Group with our client. This team builds innovative, data?intensive technology solutions that support the bank’s regulatory submissions and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong full?stack Java expertise, experience with Oracle backend development, and the ability to work in a fast?paced, highly collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as a Full Stack Lead Developer/Architect supporting data?intensive applications that drive regulatory and business reporting.
• Design, develop, and implement complex applications using Java with an Oracle backend.
• Align business strategy with technical solutions, ensuring applications meet regulatory and compliance needs.
• Develop APIs, RESTful services, and full?stack UI components within modern Java application frameworks.
• Deploy, test, and maintain applications on Tomcat, OpenShift, and other enterprise platforms.
• Apply modern software development principles, methodologies (Waterfall/Agile), and best practices to advance business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross?functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non?technical stakeholders.
• Continuously broaden knowledge of technology trends, financial regulations, and banking processes.

Must?Have Skills

• Strong Full Stack Java development experience using:
  • Angular
  • Spring Framework
  • Hibernate
  • RESTful Services
  • Servlets & JSP
• Intermediate to advanced SQL & PL/SQL skills with Oracle databases.
• Hands?on experience developing, testing, and deploying Java applications on Tomcat and/or OpenShift.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains, including:
  • Git, Jenkins, UDeploy, Artifactory, SonarQube.
• Working knowledge of banking, financial services, and U.S. regulatory environments.

Preferred (Flex) Skills

• Experience with reporting tools such as OBIEE or Tableau.
• Exposure to Microservices Architecture and related design principles.
• Knowledge of SSO, Ping, and OAuth security patterns.
• Background in the financial industry or regulatory reporting.

Soft Skills

• Strong ability to work independently and within cross?functional teams.

Education & Experience

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, OR
• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
