Job Description: Jr. Full Stack / Sr. Full Stack Developer Philadelphia PA Hybrid
Role Description / Responsibilities:
Creating optimal data pipelines using Apache Airflow DAGs, Docker, AWS, Python or Snowflake
Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
Designing modern, interactive, user-friendly web apps (UI) using React, Material UI, and similar frameworks
Designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Minimum of 4+ years' experience
Extensive hands-on experience in designing and delivering full stack technology solutions to solve business problems preferably within Asset Management or financial services
Demonstrated ability to propose and implement solutions across full stack applications and data pipelines running in the cloud (preferably AWS).
Ability to communicate complex technical challenges and their solutions clearly to peers and junior engineers to align on solutions and mentor others in the team.
Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architectures, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies.
You will be considered a top candidate if you have familiarity with our tech stack (React, Python, AWS, Lambda, Redshift, S3), our platforms (Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet) or our business domain (research, portfolio construction, trading and execution, performance attribution across equities, fixed income and derivatives)
Technical skills required or strongly preferred include:
o AWS SNS, SQS, EC2, Lambda
o Databases Redshift or Snowflake
o Python (Object-Oriented) & SQL
o Containers (Kubernetes or Docker)
o CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab or Bamboo
o RESTful APIs
o Apache Airflow Orchestration
o Asset Management / Financial domain experience
o Web UI skills - Python, DJANGO, XML, CSS, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS and jQuery
o Experience with or interest in using AI enabled development (Copilot, Claude or others).
