Job Description The Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic, forward-thinking advisor to senior leaders across the Americas. This role is designed for an HR leader who thrives in transformational environments, brings a strong point of view on the future of work and can translate data and AI-enabled solutions into actionable people strategies.
This HRBP will serve as a thought partner to business leaders, helping them reimagine workforce models, align talent to future capabilities and drive organizational effectiveness through innovative, data-driven people solutions. Success in this role requires embracing change and proactively challenging conventional approaches, pushing the envelope and influencing change at scale.
Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior executives, advising on workforce transformation, talent strategy and organizational evolution aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with leaders to anticipate future capability needs, assess skill gaps, and shape forward-looking talent and workforce plans
- Leverage people data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to uncover actionable insights and inform decision-making.
- Can translate complex datasets into clear, compelling stories for executive audiences.
- Bring a strong organizational design lens, advising on structure, role clarity, operating models, and spans and layers.
- Collaborate with HR functional teams to deliver integrated, future-ready people solutions.
- Challenge the status quo by introducing modern HR practices and innovative approaches to talent management.
- Demonstrate learning agility and provide insights regarding HR technology trends, developments in AI, and external best practices to the organization.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships across all organizational levels, providing consultative, strategic and tactical guidance on talent strategy; coach and mentor managers and senior leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with the Employee Relations, Compliance and Legal team to mitigate people-related risks, while proactively partnering with business leaders to identify potential risk areas early and implement preventative strategies to address issues.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience required.
- T he successful candidate will likely derive from strategy consulting, investment banking, or FinTech.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience with impact in HR analytics, organizational design, workforce planning, or transformation .
- Proven experience advising senior business leaders as a strategic thought partner.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Experience using people analytics and AI-enabled tools to support talent planning and decision-making.
- Curiosity and comfort with emerging technologies including how AI can enhance HR strategy and execution
- Shows a client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills, able to build credibility and influence executive stakeholders even in ambiguous situations.
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and influence.
- Experience in change management, particularly leading cross-functional HR initiatives with measurable outcomes.
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 150,000.00 - $ 305,000.00
